The Department of Calvados modernises MDPH exchanges with Efalia
The Department of Calvados has set up Efalia, a portal for exchanging files dedicated to MDPHs, to streamline relationships between departmental teams and medico-social partners. This solution meets the specific challenges of managing disability files that require close coordination between numerous actors.
Before Efalia, exchanges were mainly carried out by mail and email, generating significant delays and risks of information loss. The multiplication of stakeholders (specialized institutions, health professionals, social services) complicated the follow-up of cases and communication between stakeholders.
The Efalia portal (MG Change) now centralizes all exchanges in a secure and monitored environment. Partners can submit their documents, monitor the progress of the files and communicate directly with the MDPH teams. This dematerialization has considerably accelerated processes while improving the quality of service provided to users.
