Our reduction in carbon emissions in 2022—23
This year 2022—23, we have an evolution of emissions per employee +0.01CO2e/employees and -0.01 tCO2e/k€.
The carbon footprint per employee:
5.49 tCO2e/employees
This means that the carbon footprint divided by the number of employees in 2022—23 is essentially the same as in 2020—2021. In 2022/2023:5.49 tCO2e/employees (in 2021/2022:5.48 tCO2e/employees)
It is calculated simply by: Company carbon balance/number of employees. For companies whose payroll is changing, this allows for a more accurate measurement. Indeed, a decrease in the number of employees can mechanically, for example, lower the overall carbon footprint without carbon emissions having really decreased, for example.
The carbon balance by turnover

The quantity of CO2 emitted to produce €1k in turnover. In 2022/2023:0.04 tCO2e/k€ while in 2021/2022:0.05tCO2e/k€
Like the first number, this allows us to better understand the changes due to the growth of the company in our case.
Our carbon emissions reduction trajectory:
We remain within the limits of our annual decline objective. Our trajectory to move towards carbon neutrality is -8% per year. See our DPEF.
We are going down at a slower pace than the previous year. This loss of momentum is naturally explained by the nature of the actions put in place.
We had made major changes that largely contributed to the decrease recorded in the 2021 balance sheet: a move of premises to the city center in particular.
As a reminder, we recorded a 22% drop in carbon emissions between 2019 and 2021.
You will be able to observe an increase in tons of CO2 emitted globally, which is explained by an increase in the size of the company and the number of employees.
