What is the Ecowatt charter?
Supported by RTE and ADEME, EcoWatt is a citizen device that allows French people, businesses and communities to adopt responsible energy consumption and thus contribute to ensuring the good supply of electricity for all.
Our objective: To mark our involvement in favor of better electricity consumption, and to contribute to limiting the risks of electricity supply security in France.
Our commitments
The structural energy saving approach
We moderate our energy consumption when possible, regardless of the type of energy, in line with the challenges of energy sobriety.
- Respect the regulatory heating set temperature (19°C)
- Restrict the use of air conditioning to rooms whose temperature exceeds 26°C
- Act on the lighting in the premises: Deploying LEDs, turning off the lights in unoccupied premises
- Moderate consumption related to electrical devices: switching off standby devices, screens and photocopiers at the end of the day
Actions carried out during the EcoWatt alert hours
- Reduce the consumption of certain equipment (Printers, scanners)
- Postpone the launch of activities that consume a lot of electricity (Dishwasher)
- Postpone the charging of electrical devices (Computers)
- Anticipate the rise in heating temperatures in buildings (managed by our building manager)
- Lower the temperature by at least an additional 1°C
- Anticipate the drop in temperature and ventilation by 6 p.m. in “reduced night mode” for unoccupied premises at the end of the day
- Significantly reduce the heating in rooms that are not very busy

- Encourage employees to adhere to the approach
- Raise awareness among employees about eco-gestures in the workplace by inviting them to moderate their electricity consumption by adopting eco-gestures
- Raise awareness among employees about eco-gestures at home
- Making employees ambassadors

- Conduct awareness-raising actions on eco-gestures towards specific audiences
- Relaying alert signals to the population/ecosystem via available communication tools
- Raise awareness by communicating on the actions put in place
