
What is the RFAR charter?

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and improving our impact on the environment. We carry out numerous actions in order to achieve our goals. In order to raise awareness among our suppliers and improve our purchasing policy, we signed the RFAR charter on 6 February 2023.
It is defined as: “Designed in 2010 by Business Mediation and the National Purchasing Council, the Responsible Supplier Relations and Purchasing Charter aims to encourage companies and public actors to adopt responsible practices with respect to their suppliers, by making all economic players aware of the challenges inherent in responsible purchasing and the quality of customer-supplier relationships.”

We want to reduce our carbon emissions and improve our environmental and social impact, which is why we are implementing actions on a daily basis.
In terms of climate: we want to move towards carbon neutrality by 2035.
Why commit to purchases?
We completed our 2019 and 2021 carbon footprint. The “shopping” category accounts for a share of over 30% of total carbon emissions.
What are the next steps?
After carrying out a diagnosis and developing a responsible purchasing strategy aligned with CSR objectives, we were able to sign the RFAR charter; the next steps will be:
Development of a multi-year progress plan,
Assessment by an approved independent third party organization, file submitted to the Responsible Supplier Relations and Purchasing Label Award Committee.
