Nippon Express (Deutschland) GmbH & Co. KG (NED), based in Mönchengladbach, is part of the Nippon Express (NX) international logistics group, which operates worldwide from over 700 sites.

What was the challenge?

As part of its digitalization strategy, the company’s management decided to centralize German supplier accounting at the Mönchengladbach head office to increase the efficiency of its organization, which required the whole process to be redefined. It chose the Efalia ECM content management system, which had already been in use for over ten years in several other sectors of the company.
